ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK

TOWN PLANNER’S OFFICE AND LAND USE DEPARTMENTS

The town of Holliston is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Clerk. Position will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Town Planner, Planning Board and Land Use Departments. Candidate will respond to public inquiries, answer questions or refer to appropriate staff. Will perform clerical duties such as reproducing documents and maps. Maintains departmental filing system and office supply inventory.

The successful applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. One year of job related experience or any combination of both will be considered.

Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office is required. Experience with Munis, PeopleGIS or similar technology platforms a plus.

This is a 20 hour per week, benefits eligible position with the potential for future growth and increased hours. Pursuant to the Town’s Consolidated Personnel Bylaws and based on qualifications, the position is a Grade 200, Step 1 with an hourly rate of $21.15.
