ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK

TOWN CLERK/TOWN ADMINISTRATOR/HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICES

The town of Holliston is seeking applicants for the position of Administrative Clerk. Position will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Town Clerk’s office and general administrative support to the Town Administrator’s and Human Resources Offices. Candidate will maintain official documents and records including census, voting lists, property records, vital records and early voting ballots. Duties will also include transcription of minutes of Finance Committee meetings. See job description for more detail.

The successful applicant must have a high school diploma. Notary Public is a plus or willingness to obtain Notary Public.

Expertise and aptitude with computers including Microsoft Office. Superior clerical skills required.

Successful candidate will be able to have flexibility in working between offices as business needs dictate. Candidate must also have availability to work at town events that may occasionally require additional hours including nights and weekends.

This is a 30 hour per week position, pursuant to the Town’s Consolidated Personnel Bylaws and based on qualifications, the position is a Grade 200, Step 1 with an hourly rate of $21.15.
