The town of Pepperell seeks qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant to the Police Chief, providing administrative, clerical and secretarial work and supportive services to the Chief of Police. This position assists the general public and others in person and by phone; drafts and routes correspondence for the Police Chief; prepares all firearms permits; receives and fulfills records requests; serves as a detention room matron; registers town sex offenders; serves as parking clerk/hearing officer; prepares department payroll and invoices; and similar or related work; may serve as a sexual assault investigator.
