The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a variety of duties in the Police Department, which require a high degree of confidentiality dealing with matters concerning personnel, medical issues, collective bargaining concerns, work force organization, and employee discipline and benefits. This position directly supports the Police Chief, Deputy Chief, and all other department staff in their administrative and public safety related duties. This class supervises and coordinates all office activities and resolution of daily problems.
