Administrative Assistant (Town Administration)

The town of Lancaster is looking for a motivated and communicative team member to fill the newly designed position of Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Town Administrator. This position is responsible for performing a variety of highly confidential, complex administrative and clerical support duties for the Assistant Town Manager and the departments they oversee. This position plays a vital role in the efficiency and successes of the towns departments and programs it provides.
Education & Experience: Associate degree plus five years of related experience; any equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience shall be considered. Additional work experience may be substituted for years of education.
Salary & Benefits: Position is full-time, benefits eligible and part of the ASFCME Clerical Union. There is some flexibility relative to schedule and hours; Lancaster strives to embrace.
