The city of Lowell is seeking candidates for the position Water Foreperson in the Water Utility Department. The position reports directly to Executive Director and Superintendent of Distribution and is responsible for the maintenance, repair and upkeep of water mains, services, pipes; supervises and directs persons in a lower grade level; prepares reports and keeps records of service repairs. High school diploma or GED general education degree; four years related experience and/or training, of which one year was in a supervisory position; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have four years full time or equivalent part time experience in water service installation or related field of which one year was in a supervisory position. A current and valid Commercial driver’s license and Hoisting license required and minimum of D3 OIT license or the ability to obtain one within one year of appointment; D3 Full license preferred.
Salary range: $36.0695 (min) to $39.9774 (max) per hour. 40 hrs/week.
