The town of Bedford, a AAA-bond-rated community, seeks a qualified applicants for the position of Finance Director/Town Accountant. A Master’s degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred; and five years’ experience as a municipal Finance Director or an equivalent combination of comparable experience and education. This is a 37.5 hrs./wk. exempt position. Town Hall is open 35 hrs./wk, Monday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., closed on Fridays. The anticipated hiring range for this position is $190,000-$200,000, depending on qualifications.
