The town of West Boylston seeks a highly organized, customer-service-focused Executive Assistant to support the Town Administrator, Select Board, and daily operations within Town Hall. This position serves as the primary point of contact for residents, vendors, and community partners, ensuring that inquiries are handled professionally and efficiently. Responsibilities include oversee purchasing for departments, preparing agendas and meeting packets, attending Select Board meetings and drafting minutes, drafting correspondence, posting public notices, business licensing and records management, and Human Resource functions.
Reporting to the Town Administrator the ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced municipal environment with frequent public interaction. Strong communication and writing skills are essential, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, and general office software. Experience in municipal government or customer-facing administrative work is preferred but not required.
This role is central to supporting transparent and effective town operations, assisting the leadership team, and helping to maintain a welcoming and efficient Town Hall environment.
Compensation: $26.59-$30.09/hour, 40 hours per week.
