The town of Dartmouth is seeking an Environmental Affairs Coordinator to assist the Conservation Commission, Select Board and other town boards in coordinating local conservation efforts, in enforcing the provisions of conservation, wetlands protection, and hazardous waste laws and regulations. The coordinator is responsible to oversee all Conservation office activities which include supervising staff, administrative, technical and inspection work.

Requires bachelor’s degree in environmental science, land use management, environmental law or a related field; master’s degree desirable; plus, two years’ experience in conservation activities, environmental planning, wetland management, land conservation or a related field or five years’ related specialized field experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000 – $115,000.
