Under the general supervision of Assistant Town Manager for Finance, this position is responsible for determining valuation of taxable and exempt property in compliance with Massachusetts State Department of Revenue guidelines. Performs annual revaluation of Real Estate and Personal Property. Reviews taxpayer filings for local abatement relief and legal appeals. Qualified applicants will have a bachelor of arts or science degree or equivalent and five years of experience as Massachusetts State licensed Real Estate Appraiser with three years of supervising direct reports, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience are required. Anticipated hiring range: $107,687 – $121,712.
