Under the supervision of the Town Manager and the Deputy Town Manager, the Chief Equity Officer will work to develop and operationalize a long term program of initiatives that will develop a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture, and develop priorities that provide opportunities to build diversity and inclusive practices into the town’s operations.

Qualified applicants will possess knowledge equivalent to a bachelor’s degree, with emphasis in public or business administration, plus five years of paid experience in a municipal managerial or staff position; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. A master’s degree or law degree is preferred. Anticipated hiring range: $85,692 – $93,580.
