The Assistant Town Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties including custody of Town records, vital statistics, coordination of elections, responding to public inquiries, and assisting with oversight of the Town Clerk’s Office. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in office administration, business management or a related field and/or at least four years of experience in an administrative field with knowledge of state statutes, town ordinances, regulations and other legal provisions related to the organization and function of town government and the Office of the Clerk, including maintaining records and town elections.
Anticipated Hiring Range: $64,463 to $89,000 commensurate with experience. Benefits include health, dental, and life insurance, generous paid time off, FSAs, and more!
