The town of Norwell seeks a highly motivated full-time (37.5 hours) Accounts Payable Administrator who is organized and detail oriented with an understanding of accounting practices. Responsible for managing the accounts payable transactions for the Town including the processing of weekly vendor invoices and is the back up to payroll. Reports to the Finance Director. Ability to work independently, plan, multi-task and prioritize work according to deadlines. Must be able to communicate tactfully and maintain excellent relations with town departments and vendors. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Associate degree or equivalent training or experience in bookkeeping and general practices in related field or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
